Supply chain and distribution of flood relief aid

Floods are one of the most devastating natural disasters that affect millions of people worldwide every year. The relief aid provided by different organizations plays a crucial role in mitigating the impact of floods on vulnerable populations. The objective of this research is to analyze the supply chain and distribution strategies of various organizations involved in the delivery of flood relief aid. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, to collect data from selected organizations. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical techniques and content analysis to identify the factors influencing the choice of delivery channels, transportation modes, and logistics management practices. Additionally, the research will investigate the challenges faced by organizations in distributing relief aid and the strategies employed to overcome them. The results of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on supply chain and distribution management practices in disaster relief operations. The findings will also inform the development of best practices guidelines for organizations involved in providing relief aid during floods. Ultimately, this research aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of flood relief aid delivery and, by extension, the resilience of flood-prone communities
