Adoption of Rainwater Harvesting Techniques for Sustainable Agriculture in Tharparkar.

This qualitative research aims to study the adaptation of techniques of rainwater storage in Tharparkar, a region suffering from water shortage where agriculture depends solely on rainwater. The study will explore the reasons behind the adoption or non-adoption of existing solutions suggested by NGOs and identify the hurdles and problems in implementing these solutions. Additionally, the research will investigate the challenges associated with acquiring these solutions. The findings of this study will contribute to the understanding of the socio-economic and cultural factors that influence the acceptance and success of rainwater storage techniques in Tharparkar. Ultimately, the research aims to promote sustainable agricultural practices and improve water management practices in the region.
