Network Packet processing at line rate by bypassing the Linux kernel.

This project( subpart of PTA’s project ) is driven by Valerian system incorporation which aims to provide high speed packet processing at minimal hardware expenditure so that packet processing can be done at any low specs machine. Today NICs are cheaply available which can support 40 to 100 Gb/s traffic but Linux kernel’s network packet processing performance is very costly. So, we are coming up with other technologies which can partially or totally bypass the kernel. These technologies assure us high speed packet processing at low computational cost.
