IoT-based Smart Irrigation System with Weather Forecasting
The shortage of clean water resources in the world has generated a need for their proper utilization. Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, based on application-specific sensors data acquisition, and intelligent processing, are bridging the gaps between the cyber and physical worlds. This project is an IoT-based smart irrigation system for the automatic supply of water to the crops and to check favorable conditions for pesticides, and also nutrient deficiency by keeping in mind the upcoming weather conditions.
The proposed system’s intelligence will be based on a smart algorithm that takes into account both sensed data and weather forecast elements including precipitation, air temperature, and humidity for the near future.
