The Cultivation and Feasibility Study of Dragon Fruit in Pakistan

This research is focused on the cultivation and feasibility study of Dragon Fruit in Pakistan. Dragon fruit is a nutritious fruit that consumes less water and grows within one year. This study includes a specific focus on cultivation techniques, market analysis, and commercial viability of Dragon Fruit. This is a very helpful project for farmers, entrepreneurs, and investors. In this regard, S&Y Metals (China-based commercially growing dragon fruit farm) has teamed up to assist and provide information. To achieve the objectives, the dragon fruit farm has been visited to make an in-depth study of the cultivation process. In addition to this, the team grew 20 dragon fruit plants at Namal Hostel Chakdah (Potoharic region) to experience cultivation. For this purpose, the soil of the Potohaaric region has been tested with the help of the Nisaar Aziz Agritech Center. Soil testing report shows potential to grow in this region with some addition of fertilizers. Moreover, Google surveys from metropolitan cities’ supper stores have been conducted to analyze Market feasibility. That shows the fast-moving growth of dragon fruit and its crucial role in the economy of Pakistan. For the ease of framers, investors, and entrepreneurs, complete costing and cost-ratio projections have been made, this financial analysis is a clear depiction of its profitability. Moreover, the achievement is that S& Y Metal farm has sponsored more than 100 plants to Namal University for growing purpose at Namal.
