Prediction of Mental Health Problems in University Students Using Machine Learning

In Pakistan, psychological health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression have become major concerns among university students. In this project, we explore the factors contributing to stress, anxiety, and depression and predict the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression among university students. The data is collected from students of Namal University Mianwali and different universities across Pakistan via Google Forms using the DASS-21 and WHOQOL scales. The most accurate models found for predicting the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression are Logistic Regression, Neural Networks, and Support Vector Machines, respectively.
