The Journey of a Field Medalist:Maryam Mirzakhani

Maryam Mirzakhani was a remarkable and visionary mathematician, field medalist, and impeccable personality. Despite the stigma attached to her for being a woman, she proved her incredible enthusiasm for Mathematics by winning the field medal, “Nobel Prize of Mathematics”. The project aims to convey the complex beauty of her mathematical contributions in a captivating and accessible narrative, making the world of mathematics, as exemplified by Mirzakhani, more inviting and understandable to a broader audience. In this work, I have discovered her unparalleled contribution to the Graph theory, Riemann surfaces, Moduli spaces, and dynamics of Billiard spaces in a more engaging way that can be understandable by a layman as well. Moreover, this work also relates the life of Maryam and the difficulties she encountered and the way she effectively overcame those hardships, to a common woman to understand what fundamental aspects they have to become a successful mathematician and a good human being. The project delves deep into the intricacies of her life and journey which she possesses in an engaging way to broaden the audience of her vibrant mathematics brilliance. This work is a blend of literature and mathematics that broadens the horizons of emerging mathematicians and common folks by educating them about mathematics in a story-telling pattern and her life in a captivating way.
