This project introduces an innovative automated wheelchair with sit-to-stand features, specifically designed to enhance the mobility and independence of individuals with disabilities. The wheelchair allows users to effortlessly switch between sitting and standing positions, offering a user-friendly experience available at an affordable price. The entire design is controlled by a joystick and a simple switch button, which is used to drive the motors according to user control signals for automated movement and switching between sitting and standing positions. This design is created to address some challenges that physically disabled people face, such as difficulties in moving and the energy wasted in operating a manual wheelchair. This advancement represents a significant step forward in assistive technology, empowering individuals with disabilities and promoting a greater sense of autonomy and well-being in their daily lives.
