Multi-objective Task Scheduling in Heterogeneous Cloud Computing Environment

To resolve the issue of Dynamic task scheduling in heterogeneous cloud computing environment, we proposed a comprehensive multi-objective algorithm based on PPEFT (Parental Prioritization Earliest Finish Time) algorithm for task scheduling to minimize make span and maximizing the resource utilization. This proposed algorithm is compared with HEFT and CPOP algorithms. By using various benchmark scientific workflows like (Epigenomics and Montage) it performs remarkably well than other algorithms in terms of make span and maximum resource utilization while maintaining the other parameters within considerable limits. It will also provide dynamic task scheduling.
