Anti-Vehicle Collision and Driver Drowsiness Monitoring System

The ever-increasing numbers of traffic accidents all over the world are due to differentreasons; one of them is that the driver may not recognize the exact distance of the aheadvehicle, while the other one is that the driver starts drowsing due to a long drive and due to these reasons suddenly collision occurred between vehicles. This project aims to develop innovative methods for increased safety of theroad network. Our project includes the detection of ahead vehicles to find the range between them as well as the driver’s drowsiness detection system via mobile or webapplication. We have defined three zones based on the distance of the ahead vehicle and for the three zones, three different safety indexes are proposed. The objective of this studywas to develop a smart warning approach for intelligent vehicles that can prevent sleepydriving harm automatically. But being sleepy is a natural bodily occurrence that mightoccur for a variety of reasons. In the proposed study, we discuss a system for alerting sleepy drivers that have been created using this method, in which the Video Stream Processing(VSP) is examined utilizing the eye blink concept via the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) and Euclidean distance of the eye.
